Here are our principal booking conditions, together with some useful information to assist you in planning your self catering holiday at High Barn Cottages in East Yorkshire. *Young Children
High Barn is a peaceful holiday site and a home to hare, deer and owls. There is open water on the site ( a wildlife pond) so we consider it unsuitable for families with very young children and toddlers. All children must be supervised at all times when on site. Duration
Weekly bookings are from Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday throughout the year. We will generally accept on-line bookings for three-night (weekend), four-nights (midweek), seven, ten or 14 nights. Short breaks are available when shown in our prices table either from Friday to Monday or from Monday to Friday. All bookings are subject to confirmation. Please refer to our prices, availability and bookings section for start days and availability. In low season, please ring if you wish to book a different start date. Rent
All prices are in Pounds GB. The rent is fully inclusive of VAT, central heating, electricity, bed linen, duvets, towels and tea towels. A travel cot is available on request free of charge. We provide one bath sheet and one hand towel per person. We do not provide beach towels or cot linen, so please bring your own. Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the rent is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid no later than eight weeks prior to your arrival date.This can be done on-line via www.fieldhousefarmcottages.co.uk/payments If booking less than eight weeks prior to your arrival date, the full rent must be paid immediately. Card payments can be made on-line or by telephone. Payment can also be made by cheque payable to 'Field House Farm Cottages'. Bookings
All bookings whether booked on-line, by post or by telephone are subject to written confirmation by us. No bookings shall be regarded as complete until confirmed by us. The names of all guests should be included in the booking process and the age of any child under 18 must also be recorded. Additional guests can only be accepted by written agreement and must not be greater than the number of guests allowed in each cottage. No "Stag" or "Hen " parties are accepted Accessibility
The Spinney and The Cake House are both ground-floor cottages, each with level access and a wet-room, making them suitable for the less mobile.
Please contact us prior to booking to discuss your requirements. Smoking Policy
For the comfort of all of our guests, smoking is not permitted in any of our cottages. Pets
For the comfort of all of our guests, pets are not permitted in any of our cottages. Please contact us if you need to bring a guide dog, as this is permitted in The Spinney . Parking
Ample parking space is provied adjacent to cottages. Access is via electronically controlled gates.
Security
For the security of all our guests, we operate a CCTV system. Group Bookings
We are not suitable for large group bookings.
No "Stag" or "Hen" parties are accepted Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi we receive at High Barn and Field House is a rural broadband service. We are not able stream and it is not suitable for continuous business usage.
