We are situated two miles from Bridlington, a town very suitable for the less mobile with plenty of flat promenades. Mobile scooters may easily be hired from several outlets and the disabled/ able bodied guests will discover there are plenty of public wc's.
High Barn Cottages are also sited on a level area, around a courtyard with plenty of seating. Most of the public areas within this courtyard are sandstone paved, with central flat grassed areas.
Parking is close to the individual cottages. When unloading or leaving, a vehicle may be pulled into the central courtyard, if any member of the party requires near access and then only a few steps are required to reach the vehicle. Please call for assistance if required. Our phone number is on your booking documents.
Outdoor lighting is provided to both front and rear of the buildings and is automatically triggered by low light. This provides excellent cover and is particularly helpful to the partially sighted.
All cottages have wide entrances with no steps to both back and front of the building. Within the cottages, all doorways are wider than normal size and the rooms are spacious.
The Spinney and The Cake House offer entirely ground floor accommodation with a wet room en-suite to the twin bedroom.
